I once had a Dog named Levi

His name is Levi and he was my Buddy for 7 days. I adopted him from a "Young at Heart" who saves dogs and cats from Kill Shelters where if no one claims the pet for two weeks they "put them down", basically they kill them. Anyway this guy was just too sweet but he has Epilepsy and is about 10 years old and very few folks want an old dog, not to mention an old sick dog who gets seizures but Levi just looked up at me with those Big Brown eyes! I couldn't help myself I signed up, filled out the paperwork and paid the fees....before I knew it he was mine! The only problems......as soon as I went to work he started to howl and according to my neighbors he howled the whole time. I thought he'll get over it and he'll settle down in time but no nothing helped...the radio on while I was at work....I took him to work so he could sit by my chair the whole day (the boss wasn't nuts about that) and nothing helped. Therefore after 7 days I had to give him up....my neighbors were complaining (I live in a townhouse) and he could be taken back to the kill shelter so he went back to the Foster care folks who decided to keep him themselves....I sure miss Levi.
